Not sure how far in the future all of this is. Don't want to say "distant," but it's far enough that society has stabliized enough to allow tecnnology andf energy incomes to support regular interplanetary travel.
Far enough that there is a good understanding and social conventions created to withstand the boom-and-bust cycles of human population and social inequity.
And a rather fixed hierarchy in which those who live for extended periods on earth--out native habit--are expected to live longer than those who live, say, on Venus or in transit. Some of those who live off earth do indeed live cneturies, but nearly all of those who are post-aging are life-long earthlings.
