Undersuit

Created Friday 02 November 2012

The basic piece of clothing worn for extensive space time. It was worn all of the time (unless spending that long trip to get to know someone very well), and thus was very close fitting—like a second skin. And even during extensive space walks, it continually cleaned one's skin, brought in needed things—like ultraviolent B light, air, and moisture—and took out one's wastes. It was largely powered by mechanical motion, and that drawn from the system of the undersuit that worked people's muscles in ways that nearly completely counteracted the muscle and bone degeneration brought about by 0G.
